Demand Generation Manager

The Demand Generation Manager holds end-to-end accountability for driving leads and building qualified pipeline that results in revenue performance. This critical team member is responsible for building a winning go-to-market strategy and continuously executing it. Success is measured through attainment of targeted leads, opportunities, and new business revenue.

In this role, you will create the campaign strategies and tactics for various market segments; working in close partnership with corresponding sales leaders to ensure effective customer acquisition. A successful candidate will have exceptionally strong relationship building skills to collaborate with the sales team in order to achieve success in the market segment.

The Demand Generation Manager needs to become a subject matter expert on the needs, motivations and behaviors of each type of buyer for all products within the company’s portfolio of offerings. To be successful you must have expert level experience in inbound marketing (e.g. content marketing) as well as outbound marketing (live events, outbound calling). Most importantly, you have a depth and range of experience building marketing programs that integrate all of these components.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Sales Leaders to develop a go-to-market online strategy calibrated to meet revenue and pipeline targets
  • Build a demand generation plan that contemplates each stage in the buyer’s journey and funnel
  • Orchestrate resources and programs from the extended marketing team to optimize your marketing programs
  • Drive complex programs and projects with tight deadlines and high executive visibility
  • Become an expert in customer and product messaging for each market segment
  • Build and optimize best practice integrated lead programs including nurture campaigns, live events, digital ads, social promotions

Skills & Experience:

  • You are an expert demand generation marketer with strong experience in inbound and outbound marketing
  • You have many years of experience in the software or equivalent B2B technology companies
  • You can demonstrate the ability to build integrated marketing plans and have a track record of measurable impact on revenue
  • You can build consensus and work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders
  • You are a strong project manager with a critical eye and attention to detail
  • You are comfortable working under tight deadlines

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years instructional leadership or coaching experience
  • 1+ years school leadership experience
  • 1+ years sales or account management experience
