The Certified Coding & Computational Thinking Educator Program provides educators with a toolkit to help students develop future ready skills by learning how to solve problems, develop logic, understand systems and create innovative solutions. This program was designed by software engineers and educators to provide teachers with first hand-experience in basic coding and computer science language, which can then be brought into the classroom.
Join a community of like-minded schools working to achieve high standards for preparing future ready graduates. Certified schools are leaders in educational transformation and pioneers in designing experiential learning programs. Through this program, you will participate in a learning journey with your students to develop mastery in Coding and Computational Thinking. The Certified Coding and Computational Thinking r Program promises a Professional Development experience unlike any other.
The Certified Coding & Computational Thinking Educator Program is delivered fully online, using both synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities, making this program accessible to all across North America.
With ongoing support from a Future Design School team member, educators will be guided through a program consisting of in-depth experiential learning, ongoing reflection and the development of a Professional Learning Network with other like-minded innovative educators.
At the conclusion of the program, educators will be certified to grant students micro-credentials in Coding & Computational Thinking, which can be added to their portfolios or resumes.
In becoming a Certified Coding & Computational Thinking Educator, educators will help students strategically use ideas from computer science to solve problems, and to bring those ideas to life through learning processing language.
